Hi,
Im trying to install a RD45 radio in my 2008 308 SR.
I have removed the factory installed Bluetooth ECU and my old RD4 radio,
installed a new Multifunction Display Screen v74 but when I try to configure the
RD45, Diagbox says 'ECU unreconised', Referencing.
When I try to configure the RD45 to enter my car VIN
number from my car it says NO COMMUNICATION. The radio just keeps beeping.

Can anyone please help me?

Sorry .. My Name Is David. I live in the South-East of England.
I am 45 years old. Both myself and my wife have had Peugeot cars for a few years.
We both currently have a Peugeot 308. I have installed Cruise Control to both of our cars so im a little bit experienced with using Diagbox.
I have tried posting for help on the British Forums but no one has given help.

The version that I have been using to try to fit the RD45 to my car is Version 6.01. I have just upgraded my Lexia Interface to version C.

Désolé .. Mon nom est David. Je vis dans le Sud-Est de l'Angleterre.
Je suis âgé de 45 ans. Moi et ma femme ont eu Peugeot pendant quelques années.
Nous avons tous deux actuellement Régulateur de vitesse Peugeot 308. Je ai installé à la fois de nos voitures afin im un peu connu à l'utilisation DiagBox.
Je ai essayé de poster de l'aide sur les forums britanniques mais personne n'a donné d'aide.

La version que je ai utilisé pour essayer de se adapter à la RD45 à ma voiture est la version 6.01. Je viens amélioré mon interface Lexia à la version C.

It should be working if you're using 6.01 even if it's an old version.

After diagbox scanned all the components of the car, can you select the RD45 even if it says 'ECU unreconised' ? On my 308, I have a similar message with my RT6 but I can select it and configure it.

Did you try to set it up on your other 308 ?

Yes I can select t it, I can even see the radio version number but I cannot configure it, just says no communication. The same happens on my wife's car.

The radio is software version 6 if that has anything to do with it. Says manufactured in 2005.

for my rd45, i used diagbox 7.02 without any probleme
with diagbox 6.28, it didn't work with the EMF

don't use pps2000

under diagbox, after you choose your car and diagbox has detected your VIN
uses the 2nd choice, "reparation" in french :

after enter in "autoradio", TELECODE your VIN and save

There is a green connector next to the 2 aerial sockets on the back of the RD45 radio.
Can anyone tell me what this connector is for please?

it is a connector for Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting

Ahhh ... Ok, so to receive this digital radio, do I need another type of aerial and connector?

You also need this type of radio to be broadcasted in UK.

I am Roman from Czech Republic and I have a same problem with vin coding. I know that is more than one year old discussion, but I can not find more relevant.
In my C8 2008 (sorry I have not Peugot now, but I had:-) I changed RD4 to RD45. Everything working fine, but radio still beep beep beep... I know that means my vin code in RD45 is diferent from my real vin code. I have tried many times rewrite vin code in my RD45 but without succes. I am using Diagbox 7.83. It is not able to recognized the radio, but i can configure it. But when I put correct vin code, diagbox answer me "Programing filed". Please see pictures bellow. Have you any advice or recommendation?

It isn't new, I bought it on Aliexpress. It was produced in +-2013. I dont have idea from whitch car it is, but I know the vin in radio: LDCA13R40E2215409
